Hākinakina is an excellent multi sports holiday camp. Its reasonably priced and this week our children have never done so many fun and varied activities. Depending on the number of children who attend they can go swimming, bowling, play crazy golf.
Its great that any extra activities are charged at cost with no uplift to Hākinakina.
The team who run these camps are excellent and the children love them. There is so much variety, the children have tons of fun and come home happy and exhausted. I really couldn’t ask for more.
Thank you Hākinakina, my two will be back for more next week and next holidays!
Coach Leigh has been coming to teach our children sports skills for almost a year now and they absolutely love it. Encouraging the children to have fun whilst being active is at the core of our ethos at The Little Tug Boat..so whether it is developing their hand-eye co-ordination with throwing and catching, working on their balance with lots of jumping, hopping and running and extending their language with different playground games and rules, a great time is always had by all.
“Luke Naughton and his team Hākinakina have worked with us for nearly two years. During that time, they have been efficient, professional and extremely reliable. The PE coaches have developed a good relationship with the children and staff and the children have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions..
“Luke has been extremely accommodating and flexible with timetable changes and constraints…
“I am happy to recommend Hākinakina as a reliable service.”
“Hākinakina have worked at Immanuel and St Andrew CE Primary School for a number of years and have always been a reliable provider of excellent sport coaches. We have targeted the availability of our additional PE Premium monies towards ensuring greater access for our pupils towards competitive sports and engaging in enjoyable physical education. Hākinakina have been our ‘go-to’ providers of the coaches and ideas for ensuring we deliver in this area.”
“Hākinakina has worked with our year 2, 3 and 5 classes. The focus has been on gymnastics and tennis skills. The lessons are well structured and ensure the pupils are active for the majority of the time. Both the pupils and staff are clear of the expected outcomes, the lessons have shown good progression and the teaching staff have observed new approaches to teaching particular skills which will provide them with a greater range of delivery styles for future teaching. The pupils have made good progress, enjoy the sessions and look forward to seeing Luke. They also continue to achieve better outcomes when taking part in borough lead competitions.
Luke has made a positive impact in our development of PE. He approaches lessons with a professional, knowledgeable and creative mind, he establishes clear expectations, has developed positive relationships with both pupils and staff and has ultimately encouraged pupils to adopt a more aspirational approach to physical skills and activity. Luke has continued to work flexible with our school and is always willing and able to adapt his delivery due to timetabling changes etc. He is always happy to meet and discuss coverage, provision and next steps which provides great opportunities for us to talk about vision for PE.
I would highly recommend Luke to other colleagues and schools who are looking to improve their PE provision.”
